Wendy: Hey! Wasn’t it around here that the Donner Party got snowbound?

Cedric: I think that was farther west in the Sierras.

Wendy: Oh.

Danny: What was the Donner Party?

Cedric: They were a party of settlers in covered-wagon times. They got snowbound one winter in the mountains. They had to resort to cannibalism in order to stay alive.

Danny: You mean they ate each other up?

Cedric: They had to, in order to survive.

Wendy: Cedric…

Danny: Don’t worry, Mom. I know all about cannibalism. I saw it on TV.

Cedric: See, it’s OK. He saw it on the television.

Oh, what’s this?!?! Holy crap, it’s _____! One of my favorite movies is on TV! But, it’s very late…and I drank way too much beer tonight, even for me…I can barely keep my eyes open… Dammit, I haven’t seen this movie in years! C’mon, Cedric - gnome up! I know I can stay up a couple more hours to watch this! I’ll make it…I’m feeling like I’m getting my second wind…
